ARMD App Studio

Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

What stays private

Your saved places, item names, ratings, notes, photos, remembered Wi-Fi names, and preferences are stored on your iPhone. Place details and item text can sync directly to your paired Apple Watch. What I Like Here has no account, advertising network, third-party analytics SDK, or developer-operated server.

Apple and services you choose

Business searches and their search area are sent to Apple Maps. The App Store processes purchases. Your iPhone backup settings or a Files location you choose may store an exported backup. Those services are governed by their providers’ policies.

Permissions

Location is used to find nearby places, improve matching, and run reminders you enable. A place can remind you after Apple recognizes that you stopped there or as you pass nearby. Stop-aware reminders require Always Location so they can work while the app is closed. Visit events are matched on your iPhone and are not saved as location history. Notifications are used for reminders you enable. Camera and photo access are used only for pictures you choose.

Your control

You can edit, export, restore, or permanently delete records inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local records. A paired Apple Watch or an exported backup may retain copies until you remove them there.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before the affected version is released.
